Two Prime Wins at New Clients: DHS and GSA

10/11/2016

DHS OSA Contract Closeout Support

Chevo received a solicitation from DHS OSA, via the GSA OASIS contract vehicle, to provide Contract Closeout support to DHS. This is a two-year effort valued at over $1M for two Contract Closeout staff, with the ability to provide additional resources. We will be providing contract closeout support services to assist the OSA team in managing the closeout effort, closing a backlog of all contract-type awards for DHS directorates, and administrative support.

GSA USSM PMO Support

In mid-August, Chevo received a call from our partner, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) about a Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB) opportunity at GSA to provide PMO support to the Unified Shared Services Management (USSM) Office. The USSM Office oversees the Shared Services implementation of Financial, Acquisition, HR, and Payroll systems throughout the Federal Government. With our support to DOL for their Financial Management System Shared Services implementation partnered with PwC, we thought this would be a great opportunity. Our proposal response in August and submitted our response in September.

We were notified on September 30th that the Chevo-led team was the awardee on this 3-year contract valued at $2.5M. Under this contract, Chevo will provide the full range of review and oversight of agency modernizations of administrative systems, or migration to commercial and federal shared service providers of administrative systems, using the policies, processes, and procedures of the USSM M3 framework. This includes managing the Investment Review and Phase Gate Review Processes and performing Risk Based Engagement Activities.
