Chevo Consulting, LLC Awarded 10-Year IRS TIPSS-4 MBOSS Prime Contract

The IRS competed its first Management/Business Operations Support Services (MBOSS) and Cybersecurity suite of indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contracts, called TIPSS-4 SB, which have a 10-year period of performance (one base-year and nine one-year options) and a program ceiling of $2 billion. These contracts are the primary procurement vehicles for technology-related services within the Internal Revenue Service and other Treasury bureaus.

Thirty-six companies were selected as prime contractors on this multiple award contract vehicle among the industry’s best small business competitors. They will be providing support across functional areas which will require high-level project management skills and tools for managing, tracking, reporting, and transitioning on large-scale systems, and maintaining configuration management controls and all aspects of systems security as it relates to Government practices, policies, and procedures, such as risk analyses and the development of recommendations and implementation, and plans for new procedures and changes to existing systems.

The TIPSS-4 SB contract is designed to provide a full range of information processing support services for project and program level support and Cybersecurity related services that maybe required across virtually all software languages and hardware platforms throughout the period of performance of the contract. As one of the selections, Chevo Consulting, LLC (Chevo) leads the industry in providing technology support services.

IRS AD-CS Organizations Execute Second Contract Option Year for Project Management and Capital Planning Services - September 30, 2011

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Application Development (AD) and Cybersecurity (CS) organizations execute the second option year in Chevo's Blanket Purchase Agreement contract for Project Management and Capital Planning services. Under this contract Chevo provides Project Management, Requirements Management, Strategic Analysis and Planning, Business Case, and Capital Planning services to assist the AD-CS organizations in the modernization and management of its IT portfolio.

Department of Labor Executes Second Contract Option Year for NCFMS Program and Project Management Support - September 28, 2011

The Department of Labor (DOL) executes the second of four option years in the amount of $1.9M for Chevo’s contract for Program and Project Management Support services. Under this contract Chevo provides the DOL and the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO) Acquisition and Program Management support, including the planning, execution, and management oversight related to the implementation of the New Core Financial Management System (NCFMS).

Chevo Supports the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation Ride-for-Kids program - September 27, 2011

For the sixth consecutive year, Chevo partnered with the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation on their Ride-for-Kids fundraiser campaign. Chevo met our goal of raising $2,500 in support of the 2011 Ride-for-Kids program. This is an annual program that Chevo has supported and matches employee donations, dollar for dollar.

Chevo Wins Two 2011 CPIC Forum Awards - March 11, 2011

Chevo Consulting, LLC (Chevo), a woman-owned small business that provides management consulting services to the federal government, was honored with two top awards at the 4th Annual Federal CPIC Conference held in Washington, DC. Stacey Godlove, Chevo’s Vice President of Services, was the winner of the Industry CPIC Leadership Award, and Chevo’s Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Customer Account Data Engine 2 (CADE 2) team, comprised of Adam Byer, Ryan Graebener, Arnold DelaRosa, and Cyndy Iwan, won the Earned Value Management CPIC Alliance Award.
